A popular eco-friendly shop will unfortunately be closing later this year.
Ria-Plenish, an eco-refill shop in Brampton, broke the news on their social media pages.
Maria Stundon started the business in January 2020 at Brampton’s farmer's market, after relocating from London.
She moved to a Front Street shop in June, then to larger premises in High Cross Street during November that year.
The mix of goods on offer is eclectic, with items ranging from bowls made from coconuts, cloths, sponges, bamboo toothbrushes, and numerous others. Sadly, though, it’s time to say goodbye to Ria-Plenish.
Maria stated on their Facebook page: “Brampton has been so supportive over the last two years and we couldn’t have got where we are without you!
“Unfortunately we are not quite busy enough to be sustainable and keep going in this current climate.
“Our last day will be Saturday, October 22, closing at 4pm, and we will be going out with a bang, so please put the date in your diary and come and join us for your last refill and a glass of fizz.
“I want to thank every single one of my customers for their continued support and for your very kind donations for the scales, it will never be forgotten!”
